So many kids coming out of Christian colleges and bible schools are being told that
The ministry is a job. That it’s a great place to make a living and that it’s the first thing that is
drilled into their minds.

I have nothing against the idea of a pastor being supported by their church. But when a pastor makes
more than the highest member of their congregation has demands including making sure their child has
a full-time job as well, and this becomes the norm then we have a major problem in how ministers
see the church.

You are less apt to fall on your face if you see something as a calling. If it is a Job then you come in with
that mentality that it’s disposable.
