Comment on When Law Looks Like Lawlessness, Who Do We Obey? by david lamont https://www.faithonview.com/when-law-looks-like-lawlessness-who-do-we-obey/#comments/240621 https://www.faithonview.com/?p=124881#comment-240621 This reflects the Magdeberg Confession of the 16th Century in Germany which reflects the thinking of unjust laws being outside the sphere of the need for Christians to obey. Fiat law made by the state outside of Godly principles of law is man-made based only on human power structures seeking compliance to a particular ideology and not godly living or precepts.

Comment on Moody Radio’s format change draws mixed reactions from faith community by RJM https://www.faithonview.com/moody-radios-format-change-draws-mixed-reactions-from-faith-community/#comments/239789 https://www.faithonview.com/?p=121810#comment-239789 I was trying to gain some spiritual encouragement on the way to work which Moody has faithfully provided since the late 1980’s. This shift to an entertainment ‘feel’ while trying to retain Christian underpinnings is a step down. As a Bible teacher, there are too many issues to overcome that my listening will be primarily towards the faithful sermons by the good pastors that have been retained.

Comment on Baylor caught between faith and inclusion over LGBTQ grant by Steve https://www.faithonview.com/baylor-caught-between-faith-and-inclusion-over-lgbtq-grant/#comments/238566 https://www.faithonview.com/?p=123955#comment-238566 Some of these terms used in rhetoric today are misleading. “Incusion” or “inclusive” is one of these terms. Sure, church accepts everyone, but we don’t condone certain behaviors. Was the purpose of the grant to “affirm” (another such term), meaning to tell the new members their lifestyles were alright? Of course we know that they are not alright. If the grant were however to “foster inclusion” to make people feel at home with all of us who battle sin and want to overcome it, then I believe most Christians would accept such a grant.
